Rates and Charges
Senior Software Engineer
A Senior Software Engineer handles technical tasks ranging from software development and application architecture to troubleshooting networks and enterprise applications. Additionally, system and database administration functions may be escalated to a Senior Software Engineer as necessary. Senior Software Engineers generally work on contracted projects or under a specific Work Order where a particular engineer’s skill set is appropriate for the technical services to be rendered.
We endeavor to provide economical rates for our services and believe that we (and our clients) can enjoy mutually beneficial 'economies of scale' associated with longer term projects and predictably scheduled tasks. In order to achieve this, we need to realize efficiency in our service scheduling through a reduction in the overhead of starting and stopping assignments for our personnel. Additionally, as a benefit to clients with larger scale or longer term projects, we offer a discounted rate structure when services are performed in contracted or scheduled time increments.
Tasks requiring impromptu service frequently impose scheduling difficulties; and as such, are charged at a slightly higher hourly rate. Our ad hoc service rates reflect this; and, attempt to accommodate the inherent costs and overhead in intermittent scheduling of personnel. Furthermore, clients utilizing our services in an à la carte (ad hoc) fashion create complexity in accommodating a variable demand for the availability of a finite number of personnel.
In order to enjoy the savings of our contracted or scheduled term rates, we ask that clients utilize roughly forty (40) billable hours of service in every successive thirty (30) day period.

Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Unless otherwise agreed to in a contract, Work Order, or specific Service Level Agreement (SLA), basic rates are subject to surcharge according to our calendar of scheduled holidays and other days closed. Please refer to our Calendar document for further information; or, visit the webpage at: http://www.cydex.com/company/calendar/calendar.shtm Unless a contract, Work Order, specific Service Level Agreement (SLA), or Pre-paid Services Agreement is in effect (and a balance of pre-paid hours exists for your account), all billable services will be charged at the standard rate of $150.00 per hour. Please refer to our Pre-paid Services Agreement documentation for further information. The pre-paid discount rate requires a forty (40) hour pre-payment and will conform to the terms of our Pre-paid Services Agreement. Special service rates (surcharged from 50% to 100% above regular hourly rates) may be imposed in accordance with our Special Service Rate Schedule. |
