About Meridian Communications

Meridian Communications, and its affiliated and subsidary companies, specializes in managing and servicing radio communications sites and facilities throughout Southern California.

As many businesses do, Meridian grew from a small, family-run business, into an established corporation with diverse management, accounting, and operations needs. As those needs evolved, Meridian's corresponding information processing, reporting, and analysis requirements did as well.

Keen insight by Meridian's management brought business process automation into existence at a critical juncture in Meridian's growth. Development of automated information systems was initially focused upon business operations with the most labor and information-intensive processes — which would provide Meridian with an immediate recognition of efficiency and improved performance. Back-office accounting functions were tackled first — yielding a substantial ROI for financial management practices.

Other CRM initiatives soon followed... including extensive customer record retrieval functionality for Field Service operations, enhanced visibility of critical customer information throughout all business units, and comprehensive development of an extensible platform for further information processing needs and expanding management and operations reporting activities.

CYDEX's Custom CRM Solutions

CYDEX recognized the need to deliver a highly original technical solution to accommodate Meridian's unique CRM strategies. We created novel approaches to the unusual aspects of Meridian's unique Accounts Receivable processes; while utilizing best practices techniques for most of the standardized and some specialized business procedures. Working closely with Meridian's management, accounting, and operations teams, CYDEX refined Meridian's information handling methodologies, developed systems to automate manual processes, and refined goals for CRM development tasks.

CYDEX implemented extremely flexible systems (based upon Microsoft's Office™ applications) that served Meridian throughout this period of growth and dynamic corporate and operational changes — systems whose production life spanned several technology platforms during nearly twenty years of on-line, real-time utilization. Without promoting a 'technology agenda', CYDEX continuously provided the technical support required to assure proper operation of systems, processes, and interaction with personnel to guarantee a successful CRM deployment.

CYDEX understands that client needs are unique — as no two businesses are entirely identical — and no system (regardless of its flexibility) will perfectly fit any two businesses. CYDEX customizes its CRM solutions... tailoring functionality to match clients' business processes and expectations.
